Is there anyone special that comes to mind when you think of Christmas?

Nobody! Unless my family counts. 

What are your favorite holiday drinks?

I love using different kinds of holiday coffee creamers like sugar cookie, gingerbread latte, egg nog, etc. And I love egg nog itself. 

What are your favorite holiday foods?

Gingerbread cookies, gingerbread houses, pumpkin pie, and all those different cookies and cakes that are decorated with red and green frosting and have snowmen and santa on them. All of these are so unhealthy. Oh god. No wonder people gain so much weight this time of year. 

Do you ever give away your Christmas gifts if you don’t like them?

I have honestly never given away any of my Christmas presents unless I grew to be too old for them or they were clothes and they didn’t fit me anymore. When someone gives something to me, it’s sentimental, so I hate giving gifts away.

How are you going to celebrate New Year’s?

I have honestly never celebrated New Year’s because it’s never been a big deal for my family and I’ve never had any friends to celebrate it with, so I’m most likely going to do nothing. 

Do you really want to lose weight by New Year’s?

When I started my weight loss journey, my goal was to be at my ultimate goal weight by New Year’s, but now I can see that’s obviously not going to happen. I do want to lose as much as I can by New Year’s, but mostly I just want to get to my ultimate goal weight by March. 

Do you ever go to festivals or events for Christmas?

Yes! However, we haven’t been able to go to many this year because all of the events are on the weekends and my mom is always gone on the weekends. So it’s unfortunate. 

How was Christmas like for you when you were a kid?

I loved Christmas when I was a kid. Every year it was over, I couldn’t wait for the next. And I got a crazy amount of presents since I was spoiled. This is the last year I’m going to get a decent amount of presents and then next year since I’m eighteen I’ll be considered one of the adults. Haha. I’m scared to turn eighteen! But yeah, Christmas was pretty great as a kid. 

Is there anything you’re not looking forward to on Christmas?

Well, to be honest, not really. I would say the food but because we celebrate in the morning, there won’t be a big dinner. And I’ll ask my mom not to put any candy in my stocking. 

Do you like giving away hand-made gifts?

I love giving away hand-made gifts, no matter what holiday it is or what time of the year it is. I sometimes feel like I’m the only one who appreciates it. I like anything personal, whether it be something hand-made, mix CD’s or a letter. Because I never have money, for birthdays and such, I always wrote people the nicest and sweetest letters (which no one ever seems to appreciate it) or something that I made. I’m so old fashioned, I guess.

How many people are you buying for?

I honestly only want to buy for my dogs and my mom, but I guess I’ll try to get small gifts for my three brothers and two sisters. And also for my ex.

Do you believe in Jesus Christ?

I used to be so on and off with this. One day I’d believe in God, the next day I’d be an Atheist, the next day I’d believe in God, and then the next day I’d be an Agnostic. This is the most confusing topic I’ve ever dealt with and I hate talking about it. I believe in Gods and Goddesses and I believe that Jesus was real. But he’s not the only God I believe existed. I believe in Greek and Celtic Gods and Goddesses. I believe in reincarnation, that when you die, you go to Summerland and wait there until there’s a body ready for you. And I believe that if you are woman, you are a Goddess. And if you are man, you are a God. I really love mythology and wicca. I don’t “practice” it but it’s interesting to me. I know it won’t make sense to a lot of people, but I don’t really care. I respect everyone’s beliefs. I don’t care what you believe in. I hate talking about this, haha, because I’m the most confused person you’ll ever meet, and in two years, I’ll probably believe in something else. But I have my whole life to figure out what I believe in and who I am.

What’s the best present you’ve ever gotten for Christmas?

I don’t know, I’ve never really gotten anything astounding for Christmas, because my family likes to be cheap. But I do appreciate everything I’ve ever gotten, and I have received some pretty great things, but nothing that stands out. However, my mom tries to hide it but she makes it so obvious that she bought me a record player for Christmas this year. And I think I know exactly which one she got and it’s fucking beautiful and expensive, so that will be the best present I’ve ever gotten!

What’s the worst present you’ve ever gotten for Christmas?

A Bratz doll. My mom would buy one for me every Christmas, because I think maybe she had a hard time believing that I wasn’t a kid anymore and I don’t play with barbies. So she finally stopped about three or four years ago. It’d be so funny because my brothers and I are always trying to figure out what we got by examining the presents under the tree, and I’d be so upset because I’d be like “I can feel it, this is a Bratz doll. It has the same shape and everything.”
